Cued Speech in song
The Academy has been working on a year long project to produce filmed English language resources for its students. Part of the project involved filming a song in Cued Speech.
Cued Speech gives the Academy's student unique visual access to spoken/sung English words to enable them to get a sense of the rhythm and intonation of the words. The text of the song is timed with the words as they are sung to strengthen the link between English as a language of sound and it's written form.
