Governance

The Academy is a company limited by guarantee and a registered Charity.

On 1st September 2008 the Academy ceased to be a Charitable Trust and became a Charitable Company which has a Board of Trustees. Many of these Trustees are also Governors of the Academy. To date the following are directors of the company, who are also Trustees of the Charity.

See our  Academy Statement of Purpose for our Complaints Procedure. If you have a complaint please complete the Complaints Form and return it to Heather Vincent, PA to the Chief Executive, at 50 Topsham Road, Exeter EX2 4NF or email to hvincent@exeterdeafacademy.ac.uk. Your complaint will then be forwarded to the appropriate person for response in the first instance.
