Your health and wellbeing is of paramount importance and goes hand in hand with your academic learning and development. We work closely with the education staff to ensure that all aspects of your individual targets and objectives can be fully supported, whether you are a day or residential student.
There are over 30 members of staff in the Academy’s Care Team in a variety of roles from Student Care Officers to Key Workers and also more specialist staff such as Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Here on the site you will find out how our care staff work with you and support you to achieve your full potential and individual levels of independence as a young deaf person.
Our website is designed to give you taste of what life is like here at the Deaf Academy. To fully appreciate the bespoke level of care and educational support available, please do visit us.
