Have you set yourself a New Year challenge? Are you looking to do something to help others or put yourself to the test?
Choose from a 5k or 10k mud run. This event promises to be challenging with some small / natural obstacles and plenty of mud to test your endurance and strength.
There are various start times throughout the morning between 10:00 and 12:00. Please see the website for further details of available slots.
Please note the minimum age for this event is 16 years old.
We have a limited number of free places for people taking part to raise money for Exeter Deaf Academy. If you would like to know more, or to register for your free place, please get in touch.
Raise money for Exeter Deaf Academy by collecting sponsorship to take on the Escot Mud Run!
Your fundraising directly benefits our Deaf students, many of whom have additional needs beyond their deafness.
We educate and care for Deaf young people aged 4-24, but we are not funded in the same way as state schools and so rely on fundraising for projects that would otherwise not happen.
Projects your sponsorship money could support include our Forest School, our new Grow Make Sell social enterprise, family sign language weekends and counselling.
We also need a team of volunteers to help out at the Escot Mud Run. We are looking for volunteers to help marshal the event from 0830 to 1230 at Escot Park, Ottery St Mary. For every volunteer we provide, we receive a free place in the event for those braving the mud to raise money for the Deaf Academy, so your support will really make a difference!
