Our College Open Day is a great way for you to learn more about our specialist further education and residential care for Deaf young people aged 16-24. Students and their parents/carers are very welcome!
This special College Open Day will have a new extended timetable so you can get the most out of your visit to our campus. There will be a chance to meet our Head of College who will explain more about the different courses we and our partners offer, our education ethos and the various routes students take towards independence. You will also have a chance to chat with her individually so you can ask any questions you may have.The Head of Therapies will discuss the unique on-site support we have for our Deaf ypung pepole including Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapist and BSL Counselling. Our current College students will give you their first hand experience of what it is like to study at our college and then there will be a chance to get to know them better at our informal lunch.
If you are thinking about becoming a residential student you will also get the opportunity to see our accommodation and meet our Head of Care to find out what staying at the Deaf Academy is like and learn more about all the activities students get the opportunity to take part in both on-site and across our beautiful county of Devon.
We will also share information about the next steps in applying for a place at Exeter Deaf Academy.
