Senior Learning Communication Support Worker
Actual starting salary for 35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time) - £25,347.75 based on a full time equivalent of £31,408.00 (RSD 81)
Reporting into the Assistant Principal (Student Experience) the Academy is looking to appoint a SLCSW to assist in the day to day management of the Learning Communication Support Worker team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager looking to play a key role in enabling the Academy to move forward in becoming an outstanding provision.
The successful candidate will play an active role in promoting outstanding levels of professionalism across the team and wider Academy. Therefore, it is important that the job holder has a strong team orientation with the abilty to motivate others. The SLCSW will need to be able to demonstrate a positive "can do" attitude.
Previous management experience is essential, along with the confidence and ability to undertake managerial duties such as appraisal, absence management and performance management.
A BSL Level 3 qualification is a desirable requirement for this role. If the successful candidate does not have this qualification, full training will be provided.
