We are currently reviewing how we offer our Open Days and don’t currently have any dates to book. In the interim, please register your interest in coming to an Open Day with us and we will contact you as soon as dates are confirmed. Additionally, we may be able to offer you a bespoke visit which would provide a one-to-one introduction to Exeter Deaf Academy and its services and enable us to find out about your needs.
At the Open Day you will hear from our Executive Principal, Heads of School, College and Care. They will give you information about our curriculum and the activities and support available in education and residential care. You will be able to ask questions you may have.
You will also have a tour of the Deaf Academy including classrooms, educational facilities (e.g. the Library, IT suite, Hair & Beauty salon, Workshops) and residential accommodation. You will meet some of the students who study here now and can ask them questions too!
We will also share information about the next steps in applying for a place at the Academy.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Once you have had a bespoke visit or attended an Open Day, if you are interested in applying to come to Exeter Deaf Academy, the next stage is to arrange an Assessment Visit with us. To arrange this, please contact Catherine Watson, Academy Administrator, on 01392 267029 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
