Volunteer 3 hours for Exeter Deaf Academy

Help us change the lives of Deaf children by volunteering in Princesshay Exeter, Devon to help sell car raffle tickets on a Friday or a Saturday for a few hours.

Princesshay and Mercedes-Benz of Exeter 2016 charity partnership

Mercedes-Benz of Exeter has donated a brand new £22k A-Class car to raise thousands of pounds to support our work in Devon.

Raffle tickets are sold by volunteers on our stand in Princesshay Thursday to Saturday until the exciting draw takes place at noon on Christmas Eve.

100% of the proceeds from this car raffle will go towards enabling us to provide much greater support for Deaf students. This includes specialist sensory equipment, a wheelchair accessible minibus, audiology equipment and family sign language workshops.

Christmas shopping in Exeter?
Volunteer 3 hours with a friend to help break a local record!

We want to break the local record for the number of raffle tickets sold as Princesshay’s 2016 Charity of the Year. We have until the draw on Christmas Eve to sell as many raffle tickets as we can but we can’t do this without volunteers.

We need volunteers every Friday and Saturday up until Christmas Eve. Every volunteer is entered into a draw to win a £20 Princesshay Exeter gift voucher. Treat yourself or spend it on the Christmas shopping!

No previous experience is needed to volunteer just enthusiasm and confidence chatting to the public. Lots of information and support is given by the Exeter Deaf Academy friendly fundraising team.

Fill out my online form.
For more information please email or phone 01392 267019.

We are sorry but volunteers who help us sell raffle tickets are not permitted to enter the car raffle.

We also have a variety of other exciting volunteer roles with our friendly fundraising team. Volunteers are essential to the work we do to build awareness and help our fundraising activities.

Right now we are recruiting for:

If you would like to learn more about any of these roles please email: on or phone 01392 267019.

Please note: Exeter Deaf Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults; as such an enhanced DBS check is required for all ongoing volunteer roles.
