The 16-19 Bursary Fund is available to English students aged 16 – 19 (or High Needs post-19 students) who may need extra financial support during their time at College and is managed by the Academy. Students from Wales and Scotland have a different scheme.

Full information about the Bursary Fund is available to download in our guidance pack.

If your parents/carers feel you are eligible for a payment from the fund, please download the form. Then complete this form, with support from your parent/carer, and send it to the Academy Admin Team, along with any supporting documents, as soon as possible.

Information on Disability Living Allowance/Personal Independence Payments, Universal Credit/Income Support and Employment Support Allowance are available from the Department for Work and Pensions.

As the Academy only receives a limited amount of money each year, we need to know as quickly as possible how many eligible students the Academy has, in order to allocate the funds fairly. The Academy cannot guarantee that an application for the Bursary will be successful even if all the criteria are met. Please note that no decision or payment can be made until the application form and supporting evidence has been received.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Academy Admin team.
